Humanities Resource Teacher
Lorene Hoffler is a veteran educator and instructional leader with extensive experience across early childhood and elementary education. She has worked in a variety of educational settings, including several public charter schools in Washington, D.C., an Early Head Start/Head Start organization, the District of Columbia Public Schools, and Prince George's County Public Schools. She holds a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Elizabeth City State University.

Throughout her career, Lorene has served as a classroom teacher, department chair, Title I coordinator/resource teacher, instructional coach, and instructional specialist. She has facilitated professional development for educators, supported curriculum implementation, and led instructional coaching cycles. She has also taken on numerous schoolwide leadership responsibilities, including guiding schools through successful accreditation processes, supporting data-driven initiatives, and helping develop schoolwide programs that strengthened teacher practice and improved student outcomes.

Lorene is deeply committed to supporting teachers through coaching and collaboration, building meaningful and culturally responsive classroom experiences, using data to drive instruction, and ensuring that all students feel valued, challenged, and supported.
As the Humanities Resource Teacher, she is available to support lesson planning and unit preparation, model and co-teach in classrooms, analyze data to determine next instructional steps, facilitate professional learning experiences, and share resources to strengthen curriculum implementation. Hoffler is honored to be a part of the Legends community and looks forward to partnering with staff to support high-quality teaching and learning.
