Toria Hodge

Toria Hodge is a seasoned educator and human resources professional whose career reflects a deep commitment to academic excellence, professional growth, and staff empowerment. She currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Legends Charter School, where she supports recruitment, staff development, and the cultivation of a positive and mission-driven workplace culture. 

 

Originally from Buffalo, New York, Toria earned her Bachelor of Science in Individualized Studies from Buffalo State University and later completed her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in Inclusive Classrooms from Concordia University. 

 

Toria brings over a decade of experience in education, having served in both instructional and leadership roles across multiple school systems. At Legends Charter School, she previously served as a third-grade science teacher, contributing to the school’s early instructional foundation. Prior to joining Legends, she taught 3rd and 4th grade English Language Arts in Washington, D.C. and worked as a special education resource teacher and department chair at Forest Heights Elementary School in Prince George’s County Public Schools. 

 

Her passion for supprting educators and fostering a collaborative school environment naturally led her into the field of human resources. At Legends, she is dedicated to empowering our Legends teachers and staff, nurturing talent, and ensuring a strong, supportive culture across the Legends Charter School community. Toria is excited to continue making a lasting impact behind the scenes by backing the professionals who shape students’ futures every day.
