Antonio Barr 

Antonio Barr is the Director of School Operations at Legends Charter School, where he leads the non-instructional systems that keep the school running smoothly and safely. His work spans facilities management, safety and security, enrollment operations, arrival and dismissal logistics, supply coordination, and the planning of large-scale school events. Antonio is known for building systems that are efficient, student-centered, and aligned with Legends’ mission to deliver a world-class education. 

 

With a background in organizational leadership and youth development, Antonio brings clarity, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement to every aspect of his work. He’s passionate about creating environments where students and staff can thrive — both inside and outside the classroom. 

 

Beyond his role at Legends, Antonio is a dedicated mentor and coach. He has years of experience coaching youth athletics, particularly football and basketball, where he emphasizes discipline, teamwork, and leadership. During his time with DC Public Schools, he coached basketball at MC Terrell Elementary School and Leckie Elementary School, leading teams to impressive records and a DCIAA Region A Championship. 

 

As a proud father and community leader, Antonio is driven by a deep commitment to service. Whether he's managing school operations or mentoring young athletes, his goal is always the same: to leave a lasting, positive impact on the students and families he supports.
