Airen Washington is a Public servant and owner of Airen Washington Creative LLC. She previously served as the Director of Communications for senior elected officials on Capitol Hill, a trade association in the financial services industry and its 501c3 non-profit arm. Her work exists at the center of policy and entertainment. She's a former contributor for Forbes via ForbesBlk and a White House intern during the Obama administration. 
 
Her expertise in the public relations arena has garnered PR placements and coverage in mainstream and beltway outlets such as New York Times, Good Morning America, NBC News, ABC News, POLITICO, Bloomberg, The Associated Press, NPR, USA TODAY, The Hill, Forbes Magazine, Essence Magazine, Axios, The Washington Post, Yahoo Finance, The Economic Times, Roland Martin Unfiltered, Black Enterprise Magazine, National Newspaper Publishers Association, TheGrio, The Associated Press, The Washington Informer, The AFRO-American Newspaper and more! She has an extensive background in leading digital strategy in arts, film, and culture for the nation's performing arts venue, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Broccoli City Festival, Her Lights On Festival, OneMusic Fest and Roots Picnic.  
 
She's trained in various production roles, which include film, video, and live events. Technical skills range from backstage and front of house to the main stage at venues including but not exclusive to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Lockheed Martin IMAX Theater, The Dolby Theatre, Nationals Park, and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Her political aspirations led her to work at one of the top lobbying organizations in the country, where she gained live event and video production skills. She was a production assistant for Rain to Reign (2022), which was shown at multiple film festivals showcasing independent artistry and creativity. Her company, Airen Washington Creative, uses its insight into design, space, and functionality to provoke higher-level thinking in others.
