Aminah Williams

Aminah Williams is a dynamic and results-driven leader with over a decade of experience spanning strategic leadership, compliance, human resources, IT management, and organizational development across public, private, and nonprofit sectors. As a co-founder of Legends Public Charter School, Aminah played a pivotal role in launching the school and continues to serve as Secretary of the Board, where she focuses on governance, strategic oversight, and fostering a culture of excellence. 

 

Aminah’s leadership journey is marked by a unique blend of military discipline and civilian innovation. A proud Buffalo, New York native, she began her career in the U.S. Army Reserve, serving nearly a decade as a staff intelligence officer with multiple deployments, including a 16-month rotation in Cuba. Her military service laid the foundation for her exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate complex regulatory environments. 

 

In the private sector, Aminah has held influential roles at Boeing and Stellar Solutions, supporting intelligence and engineering projects for federal agencies. She currently serves as Chief Administrative Officer at A.T. Kearney Public Sector and Defense Services, where she oversees HR, IT, security, finance, and compliance operations, ensuring the organization meets rigorous federal standards. 

 

Aminah is also the COO of Equitable Ink, LLC, a consultancy she co-founded to support organizational strategy and development. Her passion for community service shines through initiatives like AmeriCorps and Equity Now, which reflect her commitment to equity, education, and empowerment. 

Outside of her professional life, Aminah is a devoted mother to her sons, Abraham and Asa. She enjoys fitness, reading, writing, and urban agriculture, with a vision to combat food insecurity through education and gardening. A lifelong Buffalo Bills fan, she finds joy in travel, especially to her hometown and the beaches of Miami.
