Meet the Legends Board of Directors
The Legends Board of Directors oversees all aspects of school and community operations for Legends Public Charter School, the tuition-free K–8 public charter school in Lanham, Maryland. The board is led by Board Chair Rasheid Scarlett. Here are three of its members.
Dr. Candice Bowman
Dr. Candice Bowman is an Administrative Officer with USDA Rural Development and an executive operations and strategy leader with more than 15 years across federal organizations. She holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership.
Cymone Robinson
Cymone Robinson is a senior living and healthcare operations leader and a Licensed Assisted Living Manager, with a background in operations, business development and community relations.
Frederick Walton
Frederick Walton is a Senior Project Manager and Certified ScrumMaster with more than nine years of agile delivery experience. He taught algebra at Legends from 2021 to 2024.
